Mink Stole

I still cannot believe I had the opportunity to not only meet but style Mink Stoles hair, chat and get her on my bike. She's absolutely elegant. She was everything I hoped she would be and more. Very cool and classy lady. Thanks for the bike photos Mink!

A bonus non-bike photo of Frank Krainz, Jane Wiedlin and Mink Stole on state at the SWGLFF promoting their new film noir cult classic film Stuck! Too many beautiful people at once!

Jane Wiedlin

I'm proud to announce my first musician to FPOMB, Jane Wiedlin of The Go-Go's!It was very exciting meeting Jane. She was in town for the Southwest Gay and Lesbian Film Festival promoting her new film STUCK! I was hired to do her hair, where I met her in her hotel, I set up and she offered me a beer and turned on Comedy Central, where we continued to watch The Daily Show and The Colbert Report while drinking MGD and listening to the sizzle of the flat iron. It was great. She's just lovely. After I was done with her hair she did her makeup and came out of the bathroom declaring, "I love my hair so much I could just squeeze you!" I'm putting that on my business cards. Thanks for the MGD and for helping me make my friends jealous Jane.

And one last one of her, where you can almost see her riding up to me out of the darkness!

Steven Michael Quezada

This guy is so cool. And he looks way way too cool on my bike. You know him as playing Gomez, Hanks DEA Agent side kick on Breaking Bad. He's also a local New Mexican celebrity of sorts as a stand-up comedian. He's hilarious, and he has great hair. Good to see him the other night!

Check out his website to see when his next stand-up show is: http://www.stevenmichaelquezada.com/

Dean Norris

Dean had a BBQ at his house recently, and even though I'm not working on Breaking Bad anymore, he invited me to come by. I had to bring the bike, of course! He lives out in Corrales with his beautiful wife and kids, on a really great piece of property. It was a pleasure to go- the party was complete with margaritas, tons of food, good wine and karaoke.

It was way cool seeing Dean again. We've done a few shows together now and he's always a blast. And he promised Michael and I that he'd come hang downtown with us very soon. I'm holding him to it.

R.J. Mitte

Oh R.J., pretty much the sweetest younger actor I've worked with yet. I wrote in my other blog, dated January 15, 2008, after several months of working with R.J.:

"I had my own emotions while filming this show. As some of you know, I wear hearing aids. It doesn't affect my life much, but it can when people mumble, or their back is to me. I usually tell people I'm working with so they don't get frustrated. I told R.J. Mitte this when I was washing his hair the first day and he said, “Oh, it's OK, I'm loosing my hearing too.” I had to hold in from bursting out crying to how sweet that sounded, since it's rare that I can tell someone this and they can understand. Much less a young person. We always exchanged stories about how we pretend to hear people for the rest of the three month shoot."

Sadly it had been well over a year since I had seen R.J. in person. He's still a doll- maybe a little too good looking for being 17 (!). I attended his 17th birthday party this evening and got him on my bike. We exchanged more fascinating stories and agreed to not let another entire year go by without seeing each other. How I missed him. He's doing so good on Breaking Bad and has a very promising acting career and from what I can tell, with the ladies we well. Oh la la.

I will always love love love my little R.J.

Ryan O'Nan

Now Ryan was the star of the movie The Dry Land. He's truly an amazing actor and he's completely hilarious. He also looks way too cool on the ol' bike... but it was a long time coming, getting him on Miss Blue. I miss Ryan dearly- never had I have quite the good times with actors as I did with him, Jason and Wilmer. But we'll always have the bike, wont we?

This is our "hip hop face". We're not as dorky as this. We're actually way more dorky than this.

America Ferrera & Ryan Piers Williams

Our power duo. They are so cute together. I had the best time with both of these guys- he was our writer/director for The Dry Land and she was our leading lady. They've been together since they were 21 and they act like it's only been four months. Seriously adorable. They weren't hesitant at all to get on the bike and from their huge smiles I guess you can probably see that was the case.

Jason Ritter: Special Edition

So I spent about three weeks with Jason. Maybe two of those weeks I had my bike with me. Actually, there was an entire day that Jason and I went on a bike/beer ride together. And you know what? I never got a photo of him on my bike. His last few days were spent in Texas, where I couldnt bring my bike. So we had to get creative.

Here's a set of photos of Jason mime-riding my bike. Some sad, some happy. Enjoy.
